Maty Biayenda - B.D. Graft - Thomas Mailaender

Pour sa première participation à Art Antwerp, la galerie a le plaisir de présenter un ensemble d’œuvres récentes de Maty Biayenda (1998, France), B.D. Graft (1988, Pays-Bas) et Thomas Mailaender (1979, France).

Double V réunit un corpus spécialement pensé pour l’occasion : les nouveaux voiliers sculpturaux de Mailaender prolongent l’élan de sa rétrospective à la MEP, tandis que les œuvres sur toile, tissu et papier de Maty Biayenda font écho à ses expositions récentes au FRAC Île-de-France et au 19M. Les nouvelles peintures et céramiques de Brian De Graft s’inscrivent enfin dans la dynamique engagée par son solo à Rotterdam cette année.

For its first participation in Art Antwerp, the gallery is delighted to present a selection of recent works by Maty Biayenda (1998, France), B.D. Graft (1988, Netherlands) and Thomas Mailaender (1979, France).

We are bringing together a corpus conceived especially for the occasion. Mailaender’s new sculptural sailboat models extend the momentum of his recent retrospective at the MEP, while Maty Biayenda’s works on canvas, fabric and paper echo her recent exhibitions at the FRAC Île-de-France and the 19M. Brian De Graft’s new paintings and ceramics, finally, build on the strong dynamic established at Art Rotterdam earlier this year.
