Point That Thing Somewhere Else, 2026
La galerie présente une nouvelle lithographie de Pace Taylor, née d’une résidence de plusieurs semaines à Paris dans l’atelier de Michael Woolworth, l’une des figures de la lithographie contemporaine et de l’édition d’art en France.
On y retrouve plusieurs éléments caractéristiques du travail de l’artiste : un cadrage rapproché, un corps fragmenté, des changements d’échelle et une composition où les formes semblent se déplacer et se recomposer.
Le visage est particulièrement subtil, avec une grande finesse dans le regard, la pommette et surtout la bouche, qui devient l’un des points d’ancrage de l’œuvre.
Dominée par les rouges et les violets, la palette est ponctuée de touches de rose, tandis que les nuances de gris rappellent l’usage de la mine graphite dans les œuvres uniques de Pace Taylor. La texture propre à la lithographie s’accorde particulièrement bien à la qualité de son dessin.

The gallery presents a new lithograph by Pace Taylor, developed during a several-week residency in Paris at the studio of Michael Woolworth, one of the leading figures in contemporary lithography and fine art publishing in France.
The work brings together several elements that are characteristic of the artist’s practice: a close-up composition, a fragmented body, shifts in scale, and forms that seem to move and reconfigure themselves.
The face is particularly subtle, with a remarkable delicacy in the eyes, cheekbone and especially the mouth, which becomes one of the work’s visual anchors.
Dominated by reds and purples, the palette is punctuated by touches of pink, while the grey tones recall Taylor’s use of graphite in his unique works. The particular texture of lithography feels especially well suited to the quality of his drawing.
